MARYVILLE, Mo. - The St. Joseph Safety and Health Council is bringing a driver's permit academy to Maryville.
Traffic Safety Coordinator with the Council John Christensen told KXCV/KRNW that it's more important than ever to make sure teenagers are ready for a driver's permit.
The academy will cover defensive driving, road sign recognition, and other topics. It will be at the Northwest Technical School, on Saturday, September 26, from 8 a.m. until noon.
The cost to register is $40 and it's limited to the first 40 registrants. You can register online at stjoesafetycouncil.org.
